What I have learned after my first shift of practice teaching in Lourdes School of Quezon City:
it’s fun to teach
be very flexible because anything can happen inside the four walls of the classroom
accept individual differences
consider their interests
provide psychomotor tasks in primary level because they’re mostly visual and kinesthetic learners
emphasize good behavior not the misbehavior
they see very clearly and they can see every detail from your pimples to your chipped nailpolish
do not expect them to sit still for 45 mins
they may not remember every word your mumbled but will remember how you made them feel
surprisingly, they know how to express love and respect
Tomorrow, my second shifting will begin. I will be assigned to Dominican School. Probably, I will be handling a class from the intermediate level. I am quite nervous because their learning styles and attitudes are waaaaaay different from my students in the primary level.

At homeroom period, the kids of Grade 1 - St. Conrad were asked to answer a worksheet. It includes writing what makes them happy, sad, angry and scared. When we reached the part where they were tasked to write their fears, they started mentioning the ff:
- Zombies
- Slenderman
- Sadako

Kids, omg, stop watching horror films. Might bring you nightmares! Trust me! Hahahahaha a fan of horror films but never learned how to be brave enough to walk in the dark.
